To my lovely Dad:
I little knew that day ( June 24, 2020) at his resident in Ago-Iwoye, Ogun State,
That Allah was going to call his name that faithfully day.
In life I loved you dearly;
In death I do the same.
It broke my heart to lose you.
You did not go alone.
For part of me went with you,
The day Allah called you home,
You left me peaceful memories.
Your love is still my guide always,
And though I cannot see you,
You are always at my side.
You left me beautiful memories,
I know your love will always be here to guide me.
I may not be able to see you but I know you are always by my side.
When I wake in the morning,
I realise you are not here,
I remember the good times and I hold back the tears.
I will never forget you,
Not by any means.
So by night I will sleep and see you in my dreams.
